Summary

"In the Line" by Albertus T. Dudley is a story set in the early 1900s about a boy named Wolcott Lindsay Junior who's coming to America to go to a fancy boarding school called Seaton. We meet Wolcott and his parents as they arrive in Boston after a long trip, ready to start this new chapter in his life, with his parents debating what type of education he needs to succeed. Wolcott hopes to fit in and do well in sports. The book looks at being a good friend, playing fair, and how everyone gets along in school. As Wolcott gets used to Seaton, he will make friends and maybe even enemies as he learns and grows.
