Summary

"Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll unfolds the extraordinary tale of a young girl named Alice, whose ordinary afternoon takes a sharp turn into the bizarre when she follows a hurried White Rabbit down a rabbit hole. Thrust into the nonsensical realm of Wonderland, Alice encounters a cast of peculiar characters and experiences reality-bending transformations as she tries to make sense of her new surroundings. The narrative dances with clever wordplay and defies logic, showcasing the limitless creativity of a child's imagination, and inviting readers to witness Alice question her identity and tackle the unexpected challenges that come her way.

About the Author

Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, better known by his pen name Lewis Carroll, was an English author, poet, mathematician, photographer and Anglican deacon. His most notable works are Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865) and its sequel Through the Looking-Glass (1871). He was noted for his facility with word play, logic, and fantasy. His poems Jabberwocky (1871) and The Hunting of the Snark (1876) are classified in the genre of literary nonsense. Some of Alice's nonsensical wonderland logic reflects his published work on mathematical logic.
