Summary

"Too Many Eggs" by Kris Neville is a quirky science fiction story from the 1960s that uses humor to look at the odd side effects of getting a good deal. The story follows Coxe, who buys a cheap refrigerator that mysteriously starts making packages of fish eggs. At first, it's funny, and Coxe and his girlfriend start giving the eggs away to everyone they know to get rid of them. But the story takes a turn when Coxe learns the eggs aren't just food, but something much bigger and stranger. With comedic moments mixed with a touch of darkness, the story makes us laugh while also making us think about what happens when we take too much for granted.
