"Burgo's Romance" by T. W. Speight is a story set in a time when family money and who you know determined your path in life. Now, Burgo has to deal with losing his expected fortune, and his social status becomes unstable. He is in love with Clara Leslie, but also dealing with Lady Clinton, who makes his life even more complicated. Burgo's story is about love, betrayal, and trying to find your place when everything you thought was sure changes in an instant.
