Summary

"The Cruise of the Gyro-Car" by Herbert Strang is an adventure story about two brothers, Maurice and George Buckland, who find themselves in a whirlwind of mystery and adventure across Europe thanks to George's invention, the gyro-car, a novel vehicle. The story begins with Maurice returning home from Bulgaria and quickly becoming involved in his younger brother's gyro-car project, which leads to an unexpected accident and sets the stage for the rest of the story. Soon, the Buckland brothers are pursued by foreign spies, including the suspicious Count Slavianski, turning their holiday into a thrilling chase filled with close calls, clever problem-solving, and constant tension mixed with humor, as they use their wits and the unique gyro-car to navigate out of danger and uncover secrets.
