Terry A Tale of the Hill People

"Terry" by Charles Goff Thomson is a story about a young man named Terry who comes back to his hometown after going to Princeton, only to feel like he doesn’t quite fit in. He's full of dreams and ideas, but the people in his New England town have very traditional ways of thinking. He goes fox hunting and catches one, but instead of praise, he gets criticized by the townspeople at church, showing the big difference between Terry’s way of thinking and the town's strict rules. As Terry tries to find his place and figure out his future, he thinks about leaving Crampville behind, potentially changing his relationships and his life forever.
