Summary

"The Two-Gun Man" by Charles Alden Seltzer is a Western story set in the tough town of Dry Bottom, where a cool gunfighter named Ferguson arrives to find trouble brewing. The book looks at ideas like doing what's right, dealing with problems, and how people act when there aren't many rules, all shown through interesting people living on a wild frontier. When Ferguson gets to town, which is full of saloons and not-so-good people, he sees a shooting contest and quickly gets into a fight with a local tough guy. This makes the story tense and shows how good Ferguson is with guns but also introduces the bad stuff happening in Dry Bottom, hinting that Ferguson might change things.
