Summary

"The Croxley Master: A Great Tale Of The Prize Ring" by Arthur Conan Doyle is a story happening around the 1900s, where we meet Robert Montgomery who is trying to get his medical degree. He's got a knack for fighting and, when someone gets hurt, he gets a chance to make some fast money in the boxing ring. He gets ready to face off against Silas Craggs, the Croxley Master. The story looks at what it means to be brave, the differences between rich and poor, and what sports are all about. Robert has to deal with what's going on inside him and all the pressure from people around him, while also getting ready for a tough fight. It’s not just about hitting hard; it’s about Robert’s dreams and what he wants to be. Depending on what happens in the match, Robert learns about himself and others, and how people can be strong and keep going, even when things are hard.
