Prince Eugene, the Noble Knight

"Prince Eugene, the Noble Knight" by L. Würdig is a story about the incredible life of Prince Eugene of Savoy, who became a famous general during times of war. We see how Eugene, born into nobility, faces challenges early on as his family finds themselves on the wrong side of the French King. Instead of following the path laid out for him, Eugene chooses to become a soldier, driven by a strong will to succeed. The beginning of the book paints the picture of a young man eager to prove himself in the Austrian army, where he hopes to make a name for himself through bravery and skill.
