Summary

"Tablets of Abdul-Baha Abbas" by ʻAbdu'l-Bahá is a compilation of spiritual letters and writings that act as central texts for those who follow the Bahá'í Faith; these writings share the wisdom and encouragement of ʻAbdu'l-Bahá, the son of the faith's founder, Bahá'u'lláh. Focusing on ideas like togetherness, affection, and giving back to the world, the text emphasizes heeding divine principles and fostering global unity. The start of the book explains its goal, presenting a collection of letters directed towards Bahá'ís, especially in America, motivating them to stay committed to their beliefs and engage in community support. Explored is the importance of these writings for giving believers guidance and spiritual strength, and it shows a strong connection to the Divine, pushing people to seek harmony and spread the teachings of Bahá'u'lláh, setting the scene for spiritual insights and divine guidance to strengthen the Bahá'í community and encourage devotion.

About the Author

ʻAbdu'l-Bahá, born ʻAbbás, was the eldest son of Baháʼu'lláh, founder of the Bahá’í Faith who designated him to be his successor and head of the Baháʼí Faith from 1892 until 1921. ʻAbdu'l-Bahá was later cited as the last of three "central figures" of the religion, along with Baháʼu'lláh and the Báb, and his writings and authenticated talks are regarded as sources of Baháʼí sacred literature.
