Summary

"Tablets of the Divine Plan" by ʻAbdu'l-Bahá is a collection of letters from the early 1900s, acting as guidance to Bahá'ís in America and Canada about their spiritual jobs and obligations. The book's main idea is to push for togetherness, spreading religious lessons, and building a worldwide group based on unity and peace. The book stresses how important it is for believers to get involved and help people become more spiritually aware. Talking to different areas, it tells Bahá'ís to travel, teach, and share their religion, comparing believers planting seeds of wisdom to farmers. It points out how love, unity, and helping others can change things, encouraging everyone to help spread religious teachings and build a fair and peaceful world, envisioning a world where Bahá'u'lláh's teachings can awaken everyone's potential, creating global connection and understanding.

About the Author

ʻAbdu'l-Bahá, born ʻAbbás, was the eldest son of Baháʼu'lláh, founder of the Bahá’í Faith who designated him to be his successor and head of the Baháʼí Faith from 1892 until 1921. ʻAbdu'l-Bahá was later cited as the last of three "central figures" of the religion, along with Baháʼu'lláh and the Báb, and his writings and authenticated talks are regarded as sources of Baháʼí sacred literature.
