Princess White Flame

"Princess White Flame" by Gertrude Crownfield is an early 20th-century fantasy novel for young readers that tells the story of Princess White Flame, Prince Radiance, and a realm of Fire Fairies where magic and danger are always nearby. The book jumps into a world of wonder, introducing the basics of good and evil in this land through an Earth Fairy's messy behavior, which leads to her becoming a Fire Fairy and getting caught up with the royal family. King Red Flame and Queen Glow save her, but they soon see she's hiding something, and this sets off a series of troubles that put love, who everyone is, and finding happiness at risk. With a sinister plot brewing, the story gears up for a big fight, filled with adventures and important lessons about right and wrong.
