Summary

"The Dangerous Age: Letters and Fragments from a Woman's Diary" by Karin Michaƫlis is a story about a woman named Elsie Lindtner discovering herself following her tough divorce. Using letters to her cousin Lillie, Elsie reveals her choice to be alone after a long marriage and dives into the reasons for her decision. Written with both humor and raw honesty, the book focuses on Elsie's past relationships, the difficulties of growing older, and the struggles women face in society.
