Summary

"Aaron Trow" by Anthony Trollope is a 19th-century story set in Bermuda, looking at what happens when prisoners escape and how people deal with the hard parts of justice and survival. The book talks about Aaron Trow, a prisoner who runs away and stirs up trouble in the town. After escaping, Trow’s chase to survive leads him to a harsh meeting with Anastasia Bergen, whose fight to survive stands as a story against Trow's violence. The story gets intense when Caleb Morton, Anastasia’s soon-to-be husband, bravely hunts Trow down, which leads to a big and sad clash. The writing shows deep feelings about guilt and trying to live right when bad things happen.
