Summary

"Robin Hood" by Paul Creswick retells the adventures of the legendary Robin Hood and his fight against injustice in Sherwood Forest. The story starts with young Robin Fitzooth and his family, who live in their home at Locksley. Robin's parents, Hugh and Dame Fitzooth, have mixed feelings about an invitation for Robin to go to a fair in Nottingham because Robin's uncle George of Gamewell sent it. The invitation promises adventure and encounters with outlaws; however, Hugh is both proud and worried about his son mingling with nobles because he remembers his family losing their wealth. As Robin prepares for the fair, he eagerly looks forward to the challenges that await him.
