Summary

"Hurricane Island" by H. B. Marriott Watson is a story set in the early 1900s about a doctor named Richard Phillimore who wasn't happy with his work in London. Seeking a more exciting path, he goes on the "Sea Queen" yacht. There, he winds up saving someone and meets interesting people, then finds out that a prince is hiding on the yacht. As he gets used to this new life, he finds out about a plot by some of the crew to steal the prince's money and power. This leads to the doctor facing tough choices as he tries to stop the bad guys and protect the prince. It is a book about identity and what's right and wrong, all mixed with high-seas thrills.
