When the Holy Ghost is Come

"When the Holy Ghost is Come" by Samuel Logan Brengle is a spiritual exploration of the Holy Spirit's importance in Christian life, especially within The Salvation Army. The book looks at how receiving the Holy Spirit can change people, pushing for a stronger personal connection with that presence. Using Bible stories, Brengle shows the Holy Spirit as a guide and a force to purify believers. By discussing the disciples' transformations after Pentecost, he shows how the Holy Spirit readies people to serve and cleanses their hearts of sin. The book starts a path of self examination, inviting readers to think about their own connection with the Holy Spirit and making it helpful for anyone wanting a more meaningful faith.
