Summary

"Son of Power" by Will Levington Comfort is a story about a young boy named Sanford Hantee, or Skag, growing up with a fascination for animals that drives him from the turbulent streets of Chicago to the wilds of India. Skag begins at the Lincoln Park Zoo, where he gets drawn into the wilderness, leading to him running away from home and going on adventures. Skag craves self-discovery and seeks a deeper understanding of the animal kingdom as he forms bonds with wild animals and searches for Dhoop Ki Dhil, an alluring woman from local legends. The story shows Skag's journey becoming intertwined with the local culture as he explores the themes of power, connection to nature, and human emotions.
