Summary

"Chess Strategy" by Edward Lasker is an educational resource designed to elevate a player's chess abilities through strategic insight. It begins with the basics, teaching players about chess rules and piece movements, so beginners understand how the game is played. The book then shows how to form better judgement and apply techniques when playing chess. Beginners and experienced players will learn about the strategic elements of openings, middle games, and end games. Players will learn to form strategies, not just to remember move sequences, leading to more skilled chess decision making.
