Summary

"Treasure of the Seas" by James De Mille is an adventure story set in the 1800's, where Captain Corbet and a group of young boys navigate the scary Atlantic Ocean on a schooner named the Antelope. Facing failing equipment and bad weather, the crew's journey brings them closer to the dangerous Sable Island. Tensions rise as Captain Corbet's bad decisions worry the boys, and the island's scary reputation becomes a looming threat. When the governor of Sable Island tells a tale of Captain Kidd's hidden treasure, the boys find themselves torn between the island's dangers and the thrilling possibility of great riches that could be theirs for the taking.
