Summary

"Arachne — Volume 03" by Georg Ebers is a tale of love and revenge set in the historical landscape of the late 19th century. The story follows Ledscha, a woman scorned, as she plots her revenge against Hermon, the lover who abandoned her for Althea. Driven by a desire for justice after her moonlit rendezvous never materializes, Ledscha aligns herself with the pirate Hanno to execute her plans. As Hermon and Althea's connection strengthens, a complex love triangle forms, shaping the destiny of all involved. The book examines the destructive force of jealousy, the pursuit of artistic excellence, and the lengths to which individuals will go to fulfill their desires.
