Little Pollie Or a Bunch of Violets

"Little Pollie" by Gertrude P. Dyer is a story set in London about ten-year-old Pollie; it follows her as she starts selling violets to help her sick mother. Pollie's journey shows her struggles with being poor and navigating the busy city streets.
