Summary

"The Kitáb-i-Íqán" by Bahá'u'lláh is a book exploring important spiritual ideas. It talks about faith, understanding divine messengers, and why people have often rejected prophets throughout history. The book starts by saying that to truly understand God, people must let go of earthly worries. It looks at how prophets like Noah, Moses, and Jesus were treated, explaining what their lives meant spiritually and how people reacted to them. This shows how hard it can be to see divine truth when society already has its own strong beliefs, which leads into Bahá'u'lláh's ideas about how all religions are connected and the role of God's messengers.

About the Author

Baháʼu'lláh was an Iranian religious leader who founded the Baháʼí Faith. He was born to an aristocratic family in Iran and was exiled due to his adherence to the messianic Bábi Faith. In 1863, in Iraq, he first announced his claim to a revelation from God and spent the rest of his life in further imprisonment in the Ottoman Empire. His teachings revolved around the principles of unity and religious renewal, ranging from moral and spiritual progress to world governance.
