"Afloat; or, Adventures on Watery Trails" by Captain Alan Douglas is an action-packed adventure that follows a group of Boy Scouts racing to clear their friend's name. When Hen Condit is accused of theft and disappears, the scouts of the Wolf Patrol, spurred into action by their strong friendship and values, begin a journey to find him and prove his innocence. As they set out during their summer vacation and enter the mysterious Sassafras Swamp, the boys must unite and display bravery to overcome challenges that threaten their pursuit of justice for their comrade.
