Stella Rosevelt : $b A novel

"Stella Rosevelt" by Georgie Sheldon is a story about a young orphan named Star Rosevelt Gladstone making a big journey from England to America. She has to be strong and figure out who she is in a world that doesn't always give her respect because of her situation. The story starts on a ship crossing the Atlantic Ocean, where Star, a delicate teenager all alone since her father passed away, is going to live with family she barely knows in America. There's a feeling of worry because of bad storms, and we see how innocent Star is when she meets an old man named Mr. Jacob Rosevelt, who wants to protect her. They become friends while traveling, and we wonder what will happen to Star when she gets to America and faces whatever problems are waiting for her.
