"Is That You Xeluchli?" by Dick Hetschel is a science fiction tale from the 1950s, which follows Orena and Xeluchli, two observers on a mission to watch life develop on BuP, a planet far, far away. Bored with just watching, they decide to shake things up by choosing two individuals from the primitive civilization to guide its future. Orena picks Adam Henessey, a male, while Xeluchli picks a female. But when Orena starts getting close to Adam, she begins questioning who she is and whether they should even be messing with this planet's path. The story races to a moment of truth where who they are gets mixed up with the repercussions that result as a result of their meddling.
