"Dorothy at Oak Knowe" by Evelyn Raymond is a story about a young girl named Dorothy Calvert who finds herself at a new school in Canada called Oak Knowe after traveling alone. Right away, we see that Dorothy is brave but also a little fragile, suggesting that she'll face both problems and make friends as she learns to live in this new place, meeting interesting people and having experiences that could change her life.
