Summary

"February Strawberries" by Jim Harmon is a science fiction story from the 1960s, which explores what happens when people try to beat death, and the scary results that can happen. It centers around a man named Frank Linton, who just got out of a mental hospital, and he's determined to bring his wife, Greta, back from the dead. Throughout the book, Frank seeks out a strange doctor who says he can bring people back to life. Frank does bring Greta back, but she's not the same, and he has to face up to the awful things he has done, and starts wondering if his memories can even be trusted. This cautionary story warns of scary outcomes when death is messed with, and it makes you consider morality.
