Our British Snails

"Our British Snails" by J. W. (John William) Horsley, is a scientific exploration of snails in Britain, examining their different types, conduct, and where they live, with the goal of making readers more curious about the natural world. The author shares facts about British land and freshwater snails, describing what they look like and how they act. Horsley shows how important it is for new scientists and collectors to carefully watch and sort snails, giving advice on finding them. By mixing his own stories with science, he hopes to help people value these small creatures and see the variety of British snails in nature.
