Summary

"From the Arctic Ocean to the Yellow Sea" by Julius M. Price is an exciting travel story from the 1890s about a trip across Siberia, Mongolia, the Gobi Desert, and North China. The author, also a skilled artist, shares his experiences through writings and sketches, offering an interesting look at the lands and people he meets. Thankful for the kindness shown to him in Siberia, Price sets out to explore and maybe even help start a trade route between England and Siberia with the assistance of various financial supporters. He gets ready for his trip on the steamer "Biscaya", knowing there will be tough travel conditions and unknown dangers in unexplored areas. His journey begins with his first view of Norway, causing mixed feelings of excitement and worry as he heads towards the Arctic.
