The Wreck

"The Wreck" by Anonymous is a tale of youthful courage and camaraderie set against the backdrop of a fierce storm during the late 1800's. When a ship is caught in a major storm, two young girls named Ollie and Lucy find themselves in a series of daring events on a stormy night at the beach. As they see the brave men from the life-saving station work hard to rescue the ship and crew, they decide to help and gather coffee to support the rescuers which leads to not only a successful rescue, but a strong friendship. As the storm passes, the children are thankful to have each other and for the future adventures they will share.
