Summary

"American Red Cross Text-Book on Home Hygiene and Care of the Sick" by American National Red Cross, is a book from the early 1900s that acts as a manual for health and at-home nursing. It focuses on giving women and family members the information they need to stop diseases from spreading and take care of sick people at home. The book explains that knowing the basics of hygiene and care can stop many sicknesses, especially when there aren't enough doctors and nurses around. Because of this, the author wants to teach everyone about health so families and communities can avoid sickness and take care of each other.
