Summary

"Works of John Bunyan — Complete" by John Bunyan is a collection of sermons and spiritual writings that details the author’s path from a life filled with bad behavior to one dedicated to religious belief. The book starts by looking at Bunyan’s younger years, growing up poor and surrounded by bad habits, which he himself fell into. The story emphasizes Bunyan’s change as he fought against his own wrongdoings and searched for forgiveness. His wife's strong faith and talks with religious women played a big role, along with moments of spiritual experience, that led him to find religion and want to dedicate himself to God. These early experiences shaped his later writings of strong messages and religious ideas found in his well-known books.
