Summary

"The Lady and the Pirate" by Emerson Hough is a story about how dreams and friendship can bring excitement back into your life. Two adventurous boys, Jean Lafitte and Henri L'Olonnois, find a bored man they call Black Bart who misses the fun of being young. They decide to go on a pirate adventure together, searching for treasure and facing challenges. The story starts with Black Bart feeling lonely and wanting to escape grown-up problems.
