Letters of Samuel Rutherford (Third Edition)

"Letters of Samuel Rutherford" by Samuel Rutherford is a compilation of personal letters from the 1600s, showing the spiritual journey and wisdom of Samuel Rutherford, a Scottish minister celebrated for his strong faith and care for people during a difficult time in Scotland. The letters talk about pain, belief, and living a Christian life, giving us a look into Rutherford's ideas and how he connected with people during his time as a minister. He was deeply devoted to his followers, praying for them and visiting them, even when he was suffering himself. He had a strong wish to see people find Christ and was saddened by the spiritual condition of his church. This collection presents Rutherford not only as a smart theologian but also as a kind leader dedicated to helping others on their spiritual paths.
