Captain Chub

"Captain Chub" by Ralph Henry Barbour is a story about a boy named Tom, nicknamed "Chub," and his buddies who have a blast one summer on the "Jolly Roger" houseboat. We meet Chub at a super important baseball game, where he plays a big role in his team's win, showing everyone how energetic and determined he is.
