Sisters Three

"Sisters Three" by George de Horne Vaizey is a story from the late 1800s that follows three sisters, Hilary, Norah, and Lettice, as they grow up in England's Lake District. Raised by their father who is an author, the sisters want to be different, be social, and figure out what will make them happy. The story starts on New Year's Day, with the sisters hoping for something exciting to happen because they're tired of doing the same old things like chores and not going out much. Even their little sister, nicknamed "Mouse," chimes in and gives her thoughts. As the story goes on, how they are raised and how they relate to each other shapes who they become and what they want out of life.
