"Lady Connie" by Mrs. Humphry Ward is a story about a young noblewoman named Lady Constance Bledlow, set in the early 1900s. After losing her parents, Constance must live with her aunt and uncle in Oxford, where she is dropped into a world of class differences, social rules, and finding out who she really is.
