Ross Grant, Tenderfoot

"Tenderfoot" by John Garland, follows Ross Grant, a seventeen-year-old with dreams of becoming a surgeon, who steps up during a mining accident, skillfully aiding an injured miner and impressing those around him. Despite his talent and passion, Ross's path is blocked by his father’s disapproval, but his determination to become a doctor leads him to the tough and untamed Wyoming mountains and a journey to Miners' Camp, where he confronts rugged terrain and immense challenges in pursuit of his aspirations, testing his courage and resolve.
