Summary

"Nick Carter Stories No. 141, May 22, 1915: The Duplicate Night" by Nicholas Carter et al. is an early 1900’s crime story about the famous detective Nick Carter as he tries to figure out the odd events that took place at a masquerade ball. The story kicks off at a fancy party in a mansion, where everyone is dressed up in amazing outfits. Nick Carter and his helper, Chick Carter, are secretly at the party to keep an eye on things and make sure nothing gets stolen. Things get strange when Nick spots two women dressed exactly the same, which makes him think that something sneaky is going on, especially since one of them is dressed as "Night." The mystery gets even bigger when Lady Mollie Waldmere starts panicking because her husband, Lord Archie Waldmere, has disappeared, leaving Nick to solve the mystery.
