Summary

"Drome" by John Martin Leahy is a science fiction novel set in the mid-20th century, unfolding the strange vanishing of scientists Milton Rhodes and William Carter following an encounter with a mysterious figure. Their friend, Darwin Frontenac, just back from a trip to Antarctica, starts looking into where they went and soon sees their research involved paranormal events and Mount Rainier's ominous secrets. As Frontenac proceeds, he learns about weird things happening on the mountain, stories about an angel and a demon, and a dangerous secret called "Drome" that could put everyone in danger as he seeks to learn the real reasons behind their disappearance.

About the Author

John Martin Leahy was an American short story writer, novelist and artist. He wrote and illustrated weird stories that appeared in pulp magazines such as Weird Tales and Science and Invention. His novel Drome was published by Fantasy Publishing Company, Inc., in 1952.
