The Curlytops in the Woods; Or, Fun at the Lumber Camp

** "The Curlytops in the Woods; Or, Fun at the Lumber Camp" by Howard R. Garis is a charming children's story about the Curlytop siblings, Ted, Janet, and Trouble, experiencing the simple joys of summer at a lumber camp. The narrative follows their imaginative games and the minor mishaps they encounter, like Trouble’s funny misunderstandings and Janet's fascination with a friendly crow. The ordinary fun transforms when the children face an unexpected car accident, leading to a search for Janet’s mother’s missing diamond locket, setting the scene for an exciting adventure in the woods. This blends playful innocence and curious adventures as the story unfolds. **
