Summary

Brewster's Millions by George Barr McCutcheon is a funny story from the early 1900s. It's about a young man named Monty Brewster who suddenly gets a million dollars from his grandfather. But there's a catch! To get an even bigger inheritance from his uncle who also recently passed, Monty has to spend all the first million in just one year without owning anything at the end. The book starts with Monty celebrating his birthday with his rich buddies, but the party ends when he finds out about his grandfather's death and the money he's getting. Monty has to deal with losing his grandfather while also trying to spend a million dollars in a year, which leads to lots of funny situations as he tries to follow the strange rules of the will and figure out his new life.
