Summary

Early on, the autobiography shines a light on the author's talks with key figures about how Jewish people were treated in Russia, and it investigates the author's observations about how Russia was governed and societal conditions, along with the problems he faced as a diplomat, setting the tone for a deep view into his diplomatic jobs and personal reflections.
