The knife-grinder's budget of pictures & poetry, for boys and girls

"The Knife-Grinder's Budget of Pictures & Poetry, for Boys and Girls" by Unknown is a collection of poems and illustrations that shows the world through a kid's eyes back in the 1800s. The book uses simple, fun poems and pictures to talk about things kids knew well, like the knife-grinder, huxters, market days, animals, how to act and what to do. The stories are happy and teach lessons, giving kids both fun times and a little bit of learning about life long ago.
