Summary

"The Flood" by Anonymous is a religious tale for kids, set in 1851, that retells the story of Noah's Ark from the Old Testament. It shows how bad people had become, which made God decide to send a huge flood to clean the Earth. Noah, who was a good man, listened to God and built a big boat to save his family and animals. The story describes when the water started rising really high and Noah stayed loyal even when others made fun of him. He eventually escaped the disaster and was thankful. At the end, God promised that He would never destroy the earth like that again, and He used the rainbow as a symbol of hope and protection. Through this powerful event, the book explores themes of right and wrong, punishment and forgiveness.

About the Author

Anonymous works are works, such as art or literature, that have an anonymous, undisclosed, or unknown creator or author. In the case of very old works, the author's name may simply be lost over the course of history and time. There are a number of reasons anonymous works arise.
