"Young Hunters of the Lake; or, Out with Rod and Gun" by Edward Stratemeyer is an action-packed adventure story about four friends who decide to spend their summer camping and hunting in the wilderness. Snap, Shep, Whopper, and Giant are very excited to explore and get into some trouble, just like young boys do.
