Summary

"Hyperion" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow is a story set in 19th-century Germany, where a young man named Paul Flemming navigates grief and ponders profound questions about existence and art. His journey along the Rhine River brings him face-to-face with landscapes and people that spark reflection on love, loss, and remembrance. As Flemming explores places filled with stories and legends, he wrestles with his sense of isolation but also seeks comfort and meaning in the beauty around him, hoping to understand life's purpose through his experiences.
