Summary

"A Day with Keats" by May Byron is a biographical sketch that paints a portrait of poet John Keats through the lens of a single day. Exploring his interactions with loved ones like Fanny Brawne, the story captures his artistic spirit alongside his internal battles and societal challenges. It's a look at how Keats’s poetic brilliance was intertwined with yearning and despair, love and hardship. The narrative follows Keats from morning to night, revealing his moments of inspiration, his struggles with confidence, and the constant presence of his own mortality as he appreciates what he has in life.
