"Hervey Willetts" by Percy Keese Fitzhugh is a story from the beginning of the 1900s about a young boy who lives an adventurous life and is always getting into trouble. Hervey is a carefree and reckless boy whose actions cause disorder around him, especially with the Boy Scouts he knows. Even though he often doesn't obey the rules, he also shows bravery in strange ways, which makes him a confusing person. At the start of the story, Hervey likes danger and going against what he's told, so he is always doing wild things and not caring about what might happen. His funny personality makes the other Scouts like him and annoyed at the same time. His playful and problematic behavior leads to different events, like when he causes a false fire alarm that starts as a joke but turns into a more serious problem with unexpected results.
